Chlorophytum orchidastrum

Probably the most interesting plant we have grown for months. This plant is related to the spider plant, Chlorophytum comosum. The word Chlorophytum is from the Greek chloros meaning green and phuton for plant. We think that the bright colouration makes it a fantastic plant to have in the house.

Site: Any well lit or shady spot but do not expose to bright light or the colour will fade.

Temp: Average warmth.

Water: Quite regularly in the growing season. Don't let the compost dry out.

Feeding: A liquid feed every month or so.

Tip: Give one as a present!.
