If you like brightly
coloured foliage and are prepared to give some care then consider Codeaeum.
The colouration of the leaves changes and intensifies as they mature
producing a varied palette of usually bright colour on the same plant
(which gives rise to the common name of Josephs Coat).
Site: A
bright position.
Temp: Keep
warm
Water: Keep
well watered in summer and infrequently in winter. Try to keep humidity
up with misting and use a pebble tray if possible.
Feeding:
A liquid feed every 3 weeks or so.
Tip: To
get the best from these stunning plants a fairly constant temperature,
high humidity and good light are required.
