What a scary plant! Davallia is like a cross between an asparagus and a tarantula. Little known and hard to forget Davallia is great for a bathroom but don't flush it down the plughole!

Temp: Average warmth.

Water: Water well in the growing season but do not allow the compost to become waterlogged.

Feeding: A liquid feed every month or so.

Tip: Mist the hanging rhizomes occasionally and don't overfeed.
