Now relatively well known in the UK the Kentia Palm is a wonderful specimen palm, taking low light levels (give more light to larger specimens) and needing little specialist care it will add an air of the exotic into any room.

Site: Bright indirect light to dim shade. Anywhere out of direct sun really!

Temp: Average warmth. Wont mind if it gets a little chilly.

Water: Water well in the growing season little over winter. If you live in a hard water area water with rainwater.

Feeding: A palm food applied every month or so over the growing season.

Tip: If reppoting use an ericaceous compost and do not use leaf shine.
