An absolutely fantastic
fern! Ornamental, unusual and easy to look after the crocodile fern
is easily in our top ten houseplants. Originally from South Africa this
ferns leaves perfectly mimic the skin of a crocodile. Great for bathrooms
and kitchens.
Site: Bright
indirect light to Light shade.
Temp: Average
warmth.
Water: Do
not let the compost dry out, in the growing season keep moist and reduce
the watering in winter. Keep the humidity up with misting. Having said
this this fern will cope with periods of drought and is one of the few
ferns that can cope with a holiday absence.
Feeding:
A weak feed every month or so.
Tip: Place
in a pebble tray to increase humidity if growing in a very dry enviroment
