Tough and architectural, Sansevieria is the perfect plant for the modern interior. Long sword like leaves with gold trim can reach a metre in height, providing a sculptural specimen either planted on its own or in a group.

Site: Will take conditions from full sun to light shade

Temp: Average.

Water: Water when the compost is dry and even less over the winter. No need for high humidity.

Feeding: A liquid feed every month or two

Tip: Don't repot until it the roots have completely filled the pot. It can then be divided and replanted.
