At the nursery we get asked a lot for indoor plants that have a particular style or use. Below are a group of collections to help you find the ideal houseplant.

Indoor plants safe for cats
We get lots and lots of mail asking us what indoor plants are poisonous to cats. Having looked into this it easier to list those that are safe!
Hard to kill plants
Do you want to have that indoor jungle but find that in a matter of weeks your plants start dropping leaves, wilt, develop spots and blemishes? To be honest the main reason is putting the plant where it does not want to go and then drowning it.
Some plants are a bit fussier than others needing that spot that you really cannot put it. Below are top house plants that really do not mind too much where they go and will not mind (they will actually prefer!) neglectful watering.
The one thing to remember is the darker the position the less water they will need, just leave the plant until the compost is dry and then give it a good water (never leave it sitting in water for longer than half an hour).
Note: do not overwater! these are not aquatics.
Home Grown Houseplants
Get 20% off home grown plants if you order 5 or more home grown plants.
Here at our Sussex family plant nursery, we've grown everything on this page here in the UK.
The beige pots you see them in are 100% recycled from old computer parts and are 100% recycleable.
The compost in each of them is tailored specially for the plant.
We do not have massive amounts, so get them while you can.
You can now continue each plant's journey into maturity from your own home or office, knowing exactly where it came from.
