Care Information

  • Site

    Will take conditions from full sun to light shade.

  • Temperature

    Average.

  • Water

    Water when the compost is dry and even less over the winter. No need for high humidity.

  • Feeding

    A liquid feed every month or two.

  • Tip

    Don't repot until it the roots have completely filled the pot. It can then be divided and replanted.

Less well known than the regular mother in laws tounge, S. zeylanica is just as tough. Set to become a favorite with interior designers due to its grey green/silver foliage and striking shape.
