Care Information

  • Site

    Likes good light and a spot that is not too stuffy or humid. Full summer sun may scorch the leaves.

  • Temperature

    We have had these go down to 5 degrees centigrade with no signs of damage. Over the Winter (Oct-Feb) it will need to be in a cool spot (max 10 celcius overnight)

  • Water

    Hates being waterlogged so be careful not to water if the soil in moist at all. Over the winter cut back on watering only giving it a very small amount.

  • Feeding

    Once a month in the growing season (March-Oct)

  • Tip

    When it starts growing in early spring move it to a warmer spot and increase watering.

Stunning plant from South Africa. The orange flowers are striking in thier brightness! Attractive evergreen leaves grow in a single plane creating an architectural look even when not flowering. Its easy as well!
