Care Information

  • Site

    Any bright spot out of direct sunlight. Filtered light is perfect, such as behind a blind next to a sunny window. 

  • Temperature

    Normal home temperatures are fine for this plant, and it can tolerate bouts of cold. 

  • Water

    Ideally the soil needs to be moist but not soggy or waterlogged. Over winter allow to dry out quite a bit between waterings. 

  • Feeding

    A weak liquid feed every six weeks over summer. 

  • Tip

    Brown spots on the leaves show that the plant is underwatered, black leaves can mean its getting too much.
