Care Information

  • Site

Somewhere dark is best, but that's not to say it won't do well in a brighter spot as well. Anywhere out of direct sunlight will be absolutely fine. Just bear in mind that if it's in a brighter spot, it will be incredibly thirsty!

  • Temperature

It's got to be hot to survive unfortunately. This is the main reason for failure with these lovely plants.

  • Water

They're a thirsty variety, with at least some moisture always required in the soil.

  • Feeding

Use full strength plant food throughout spring and summer.

  • Tip

If you notice yellowing at the base of the stems and a few leaves looking no longer at their best, it could very well be that the plant has gotten cold whilst wet. Try your best to keep it warm and remove bits of rotting stem to prevent it spreading.

Aglaonema Greyhound

Chinese Evergreen 'Greyhound'

Strikingly similar to Aglaonema cutlass, this shade-loving member of the Chinese Evergreen family grows straight up in its juvenile stage, with the leaves facing directly upwards. As it matures it will spread out across the pot and create a bushy centrepiece that continues to grow upwards in the centre. A gorgeous plant!
