Care Information

  • Site

    Sunny. It will be happy in a South facing window.

  • Temperature

    Not too hot. Over winter it will like a coolish evening but not below 7 degrees C.

     

  • Water

    Dont let it ever completely dry out but never lit it get too soggy or sit in water over the winter.

  • Feeding

    Quite a bit over the Spring-Autumn every 2-3 weeks with a liqid feed.

  • Tip

    Standing it in a pebble tray will help keep the humidity up

Forget the Ponsetia this is our top Christmas plant. This lovely shrub from Southeast Asia flowers in the Summer and then grows the stunning red berries reaching its colourful peak around Christmas. Berries may be pink darkeing with time.
