Care Information

  • Site

Somewhere bright, warm and not too dry (such as next to radiators) will bring out the best of this plant.

  • Temperature

Hates the cold. Anything below 17 Celsius will begin to harm this plant after a while.

  • Water

Very thirsty. If allowed to dry out completely it will begin to heavily wilt and may not recover.

  • Feeding

A liquid food during the height of summer is recommended to bring out the variegation and encourage growth.

  • Tip

Humidity is vital. If you do not mist this plant regularly or provide another form of humidity, the outer edges of the leaves will begin to ruffle, go crispy and die.

A splendid new addition to our range of Codiaeums, but with creamy white variegation in place of the less subtle kalleidoscopic colours that make up the other species.

The variation of each leaf is remarkable, giving each plant a distinct identity that will only become more pronounced with time.

Loves humidity. Hates cold. Hates getting dry. One of the more intermediate plants that we supply.

We will not send these plants out between September and March due to risk of cold damage.
