A common plant in the 70's and 80'smaking a real comeback. Ivy-like leaves from a cascade of furry stems create a bushy mass of foliage that looks great hanging anywhere Cissus rhombifolia really looks like it's straight out of a French vineyard!
One of the least fussy plants. It grows quickly whether neglected or constantly cared for. It is also extremely versatile when it comes to light conditions and temperature. A perfect gift for a newcomer to plants who wants to see lots of development!
Temperature Normal indoor tempratures are fine, over 30 celcius for too long can cause problems.
WateringReally important to let it dry out inbetween watering. Then make sure the roots get a drink (rather than it running down the side of the dry compost!) One way to avoid this is to dunk the whole plant in water. Just make sure it's not too cold!
Feeding Half strength liquid feed once every 5-8 weeks over the spring/summer seasons.
Tips The leaves should be a dark green if they are light then it needs a feed.
Light Level Direct sunlight will scorch the leaves but apart from this it will grow happily in bright light to mid shade. It will get a little lanky in a really dark spot, just pinch out the ends of the vine.
