African Fig Tree | Ficus cyathistipula

Latin Name: Ficus cyathistipula
Plant height (inc. pot) - Pot width

Ficus cyathistipula is an unusual fig from central Africa with long rounded dark green leaves. Quite quick growing in the right spot. Great if you want to grow an indoor tree!

Ideal for a north-facing room. The large leaves will help catch dust and sound, provide a natural feel and even keep the humidity indoors balanced.

It is a member of the mulberry family and in the wild is usually found around swamps and along the banks of rivers. In Kenya it is known as 'the river's gift'.
