Kerchoveana used to be a very common houseplant, adorning dark shelves and bottle gardens all over the UK. For some reason for many years it was relatively hard to find but we are now growing this delightful and low maintenance plant in our 100% recycled pots.
A brilliant contrast between mint green foliage and its fade into warm brown highlights, the spread of this plant is complimented by the sweet white flowers that sprout throughout the plant regularly.
As with many marantacae, it closes its leaves during the night and opens them again in the morning.
It can easily be propagated when repotting by removing the offshoots that find the edge of the pot and grow from there.
UK Grown right here in Sussex and sold in our environmentally-friendly, recycled pots made out of old computer parts.
