Madagascar Palm | Pachypodium lamerei

Latin Name: Pachypodium lamerei
Plant height (inc. pot) - Pot width

Not really a palm but a tall growing succulent, this wonderful native of Madagascar is a very easy to look after plant that is definitely something out of the ordinary. Needs a bright spot to achieve its maximum potential, which is huge! We have seen specimens growing above 3 metres, with multiple heads of foliage and a wooded trunk.

Despite its name suggesting it is tailored to a hot climate, it's remarkably resilient against cold. Probably one of the easiest plants out there to keep in the British home, as it will continue to grow quickly with minimal care or warmth.
