Found in deep jungle across South America, these plants are relative newcomers on the commercial market. That being said, they are pretty easy to look after if placed in the right environment.

Temperature It loves warm, humid conditions to mimic its natural environment. Try not to let it get too cold in the winter.
WateringInfrequently it will need soaking completely. It should be in loose compost that allows the soft roots to grow and the water to flow from the base of the pot freely. 
Feeding A weak liquid house plant feed once a month in spring and summer will really set it on its way and bring out the colour of the leaves.
Tips Pop the plant on a tray of wet pebbles to recreate the humid environment it comes from.
Light Level It will thrive on bright, indirect light on an East or West facing windowsill.
