Oak Leaf Philodendron | Pedatum

Latin Name: Philodendron pedatum
Plant height (inc. pot) - Pot width

Like big leaved climbers? This is a stunning alternative to the better known Cheese plant. Just as easy and in our opinion a bit more special. The leaves ofPhilodendron pedatumcan in the right conditions grow to over a foot long!

The leaf petioles (the stem before the green bit) are a wonderful deep purple and grow upwards to support the ornate star shaped leaves.

Will climb quickly upwards without a huge amount of width, but can be sculpted over time to your desired shape. Eventually it will have a lot of width just because of the enormous leaves! We've seen examples of people adhering the climbing stems to their walls to create their perfect jungle room.
