A spreading and cascading houseplant threaded with succulent fleshy leaves which look like a string of beads. The leaves are up to 1 cm long and green with vertical, translucent lines. Flowers appear at various times of the year on tall stems as small, white and fuzzy daisies.
Fast growing and drought tolerant, originating from Southwest Africa. Needing room to Trailing, they are best positioned in a bright spot avoiding direct sun.
Temperature Maintain temperatures of above 10°C. They are adapted to dry arid conditions, therefore no need to increase humidity in the room.
WateringUnlike other succulents, they do like water on a fairly frequent basis during the growing season. However, they will easily rot if over-watered or left to sit in water. Allow the soil to dry out between waterings.
Feeding Diluted succulent or houseplant feed annually
Tips May not be ideal if you have young children or pets (particuarly cats) as the moving stems can be appealing to playful pets.
